Question: If you were stranded on a deserted island- (no, not DESSERT-ed, but if you are wondering mine would be loaded with strawberry shortcake) But if you were stranded and you could pick one person to be stranded with you, who would that person be? If you could only take three things with you, what would you take? How long would you wait before calling for help? Would you camp out on the island and learn to live off the land? Finding exotic fruits and weaving your own hammock and learning to make do with the ONLY the necessities? Would you be a survivor?
I could survive. If I could take a special someone (and you know who you are)
My three necessities would be as follows:
1) Said friend's MP3 player, because we enjoy the same music. Because besides ocean breezes you need good music, people! What else is going to calm you, you are stranded, remember?
2) Satellite phone. Because you will not have signal for your cell! If you decide you can't cope with the whole stranded thing and you panic, you have the option to phone home. Or order pizza if you so desire. I would have to call my mom and make sure my children were okay while she is in charge of their care during this unforeseen vacay.
3) Rowboat. Not for evacuation, but for pure enjoyment of the calm ocean waters.
